#BestMemories2012 @TheFray Meet+Greet and Concert!! I really had a blast! After waiting since fifth grade, I finally got the chance to see them upclose!
I hope they enjoyed their stay. I remember when I shook hands with Isaac Slade, he pulled me in closer and whispered “Mabuhay!” That was really unexpected and welcoming! They were all friendly. I remember talking to Ben Wysocki longer than Joe and Dave. But all in all, it was a dream come true for me.
Concert night. Isaac started the show by shouting “Mahal ko kayo, Manila!” and the crowd goes wild! Throughout the concert, what I’ve notice is Isaac really wants the crowd to stay with them. He shares his insights about the terrible typhoon that devastated the country and that he feels sorry for us. With that, he sang an “exotic” version of Happiness. One of the songs that topped that night was Joe Kings incredible vocals for Ungodly Hour. That was epic in massive proportion. One of the highlights of the night was the mixed-up for Cable Car where Isaac ran through the crowd, climbing the wall and going the lower box section to give everyone a fair treat for the night. That was wild.
It was my first concert experience with the first band I’ve become dedicated of.
To sum it all up, The Fray has given me the opportunity to venture what’s out there —to not be afraid to try something new.
